GTA 4 Review

Finally I know, but I had to absorb the game that lasts about three years for me for at least a few months. Grand Theft Auto IV is by far the best in the series becaues it has everything that the others were missng and a little more.

I want to talk about one flaw first. The Game can become repetitive offline. When Hardcore gamers become somewhat addicted to GTAIV, they may become mad that there isnt more to do, but that is where online comes in. You can create your own online games, or you can play the given ones, like the one where you have to work together to evade the cops. Totally customizable characters online is a seller for me.

This game was a huge project, and really what I found was different to any of the other games was the shooting and driving. The driving is a little more challenging at first, but when you get the hang of it, I think it was a better style and a more realistic feel. Aim was inverted in all the other gta games, here it wasnt and the crosshairs are easily seen snd used to kill enemies. What I found to be another flaw was that I would have a subway held up, and have cops running down the stairs and the aiming system would not easily allow me to aim to the target I want to, it might keep aiming at a dead body of one of my "victims".

Another big change to the previous gta titles was the graphics, the graphics are great in gta4 and up to par with next gen games. Making the game so much more stylish and enjoyable. With a lasting appeal through the roof I need not mention too much about it. Sound finally was good, and had a lot of original, fresh ideas that made me feel more apart of the game. I was just driving along the sidewalk, as one would, and hit a hobo, he yelled out "I don't have any Banana's!"

A great game, perfect? no, but damn good.

Bioshock Review

Bioshock was a great First Person Action/RPG style game with a flowing story that Kept me wanting more. To give truth to this game, I'd say it had the best story of 07, and it helped hide the small instinces where you might find a flaw in the game.

The weapons in the game really impressed me, not only the weapons but the way the humour was used with the demonstrations of the weapons and how the game allowed you to be creative with them. With Bioshock you are given the use of not only melee wrench, and guns, you are given the use of plasmids. Plasmids are injected to give you powers like lightning bolts, or fireballs, even bee swarms.

Plasmid Needles are only to generally boost the plasmids use, not any one in peticular, giving a little more simplicity and less to worry about. Without Plasmids, you could try to get through the game, but you would probably run out of ammo alot, and plasmids are plain fun.

Sound is a great big part of Bioshock, the effects and voice acting is brilliant, and the fact that there are recordings as a opposed to cutscenes, and radio instead of misson briefing, it keeps the illusion going for much longer. The weapon noises were good, and for plasmids the noise was decent.

Graphics were a key make or break thing in this game, but not to a large degree, I think most people will love the Art Style and cartoony design of Bioshock, the Graphics were Excellent, but if you don't love the look of this game, then you will find yourself bored.

If I had to choose a game of the year for 2007 now, I think looking back, Bioshock might be it, as far as PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 go. Looking forward I think the sequel will

Mass Effect Review

Mass Effect recieved a 9.4 on IGN, an 8.5 on Gamespot and a 9.0 on 1up. I will not incorporate any averages into my reviews, but just my own thoughts on the game, not that I'm unfair.

I want to make sure that everyone knows this blog includes reviews although I haven't reviewed anything yet, I'm going back to 07 to recap what games are the best of the best, so here it is...

Mass Effect had a lot of good points that some people didn't see because of it's flaws, the game has some buggy, and laggy loading times, which couldv'e been fixed with just a loading screen. the in-game was worse, if you walk into a room with 5 enemies, you can see the levels of detail being aplied as well as the textures on their body. The one flaw I hear a lot about but see no real problem to is commanding your squad. When commanding your squad you can try to command them to go somewhere using the up on the D-pad, the squad will sometimes fullfill the command or sometimes not, which is not reliable game tactics, though I did find that it worked about 8 times out of ten. Something you might find annoying in the game is when you try to collect an item and you squad mates are beside you. Of course you go to pick the items up but the cursor to control what target you want to interact with is not your character but the camera angle behind him. the game seems like it's meant to be first person with a lesser third person option, like...Oblivion.

The story is really a turning point in gaming history, because it allows you to change other characters opinions, morals, or relationships by your words and not your money this time around. The Character base is so intelligent and really makes you look at the potential of the newest form of on screen entertainment.

The graphics are fine after they process in front of your eyes.

The cinematics are Masterful, the detail is almost human, the framerate is good as long as the games many bugs don't make it choppy.

The Gameplay is really great, and I see more after 2 and 1/2 playthroughs that the game is a lot of the same skills being tested more and more, where other games might continue testing your skill in many different ways. That said, Mass Effect is an RPG so you'll see a lot of repetition in combat, though if you go on side missions you can max out your characters skill points that are very specific compared to most, as well as you team mates *0*.

The sound is perfect with the story and cinematics. the voice acting is the best I've ever heard and the diferent races have quite unique speech quirks that are not only creative but apply to many sci-fi fans thoughts.

This is a short game, unless you go on the side quests which you can't go on when you beat the game, because you can't freerome after the main game is finished. You can make very well made custimizations of your characters for your first, second, or third playthrough, or you can stick to the developers character that they made.

The Orange Box Review

Best Deal in 08

With the Half life 2 games this reddish yellowish box is already the best game deal of 07, but with Portal and Team Fortress this box is unstoppable.

The games are all very well paced and extremely well thought out. The puzzles that challenge you in Portal and the Half life 2 games are very different from what puzzles you might see in first person games. Half life 2 Episode 2 Team fortress 2 and portal are all new games, and the box also includes Half life 2 and Half life 2 episode one which are older games.

Half Life 2: Episode Two.

A lot of key moments occur in Half Life 2 Episode Two's story that will give some closure and leave you wanting more.

The only real new weapon is a bomb that you can shoot at Stryders (Giant Mechanical Spiders) with your Gravity gun and if it successfully attaches to them you can shoot at the bomb and it wil explode taking out the Stryder in one blow. The self centered, egocentric Scientist named Dr. Magneson named his bomb after, himself. Yes the Bombs are called Magnesons.

The first third of the game takes you through the ant lions colony and it shows how much the series needed an explanation for what Gordon Freeman is really fighting. You go through some Combine enemies, but you'll mainly face the combines Hunters which are introduced to half life in this game.

The graphics are not raising any bars in games, but are well done and the art is not comparable to any other games. The real part of the games in half life that get me are the conversations with Alyx and Eli Vance, or Dr. Kleiner, and others.

The Aliens were more a part of Episode 2 as you go through their tunnels in the ground. You learn about the Ant Lions and you seethe Larvae, more Protectors and a lot of the regular Ant Lions.

This Game is only about 6 hours long unless you survive the whole game, and believe me you'll enjoy it.

Team Fortress 2

This game is going to give you great online multiplayer.

The game will blow you away with laughter, it has it's own unique, cartoony style, great characters to ontexperiment with, and fun combat techniques that are original to Team Fortress.

The bad stuff isn't so bad, and the good stuff is great! The game may be a little bit too slow paced for some players, the weapons don't match up with everyone's styles, but you've got hours of fun on this game.

The characters have 3 classes, Offense, Defence and Support. Offense Includes the Scout, the Pyro and the Soldier. The Defence has a Demoman, Heavy, and an Engineer. Finally the Support has the Spy, Sniper and Medic. The classes are quite fun to use and try to balance your team. You get three weapons for each class you pick Ex.(scout has Shotgun, pistol and Baseball bat)

I'll Start with Offense. The Scout is a character for those of you who want a fast paced kind of game where you are capable of avoiding enemies instead of having to go face to face with them. I've already mentioned the Scouts weapons, and to let you know, the bat is a one hit kill. Soldiers have rocket launchers which they can not only launch at enemys or ground near them, but ground near themselves to launch themselves to do a big jump. They also get their own shotgun and they have shovels which are comical to use. Pyros get the ever beautiful Flamethrower, which is my favourite weapon besides maybe the bat. They also get a shotgun, the same as the soldiers, and a red axe.

Now on to the Defence. The Demoman has a bottle of some kind of Rum, or at least alcohol, and a grenade launcher as well as the most frustrating death, the proximity mine. Heavy is one of the most popular classes and it gets its big Chain Gun, two fists, and the same shotgun as the soldier and Pyro. The Engineer has his Wrench, *FUN*, his pistol, same as Scouts, shotgun same to the Soldier, Pyro and Heavy, and also his trusty engineering gadget which can build Dispensers of engineering to build Sentry Guns, and Teleporters.

Support is equally fun where with the medic you can heal teammates with your ubercharger saw enemies or Shot pills at them with your pills despenser. The Sniper being on of My favourites again, has a sniper rifle, machine gun and a long knife. Finally the Spy has his big Revolver, his disguise as the other teams players, his little pocket knife and the Electro Sapper which I can't figure out what to do with honestly.

The Game can be slow paced if you don't have enough pplayers, which not a lot of people are on Team Fortress 2, but the game is Worth playing and truly a boost of the Ogrange Box's lasting Appeal.

Everybody saw the games

concept and thought it was

pretty good, but the feeling

of actually Playing Portal

is one of the best games

I've experienced. It really

gives you the things you would

only Sub-conciously wish for

in a type of puzzle game.

Portal truly shows that

fighting against enemies can

be a puzzle if you make it one.

Network Wars

These three networks of websites flood the internet with information, rumours, video and a lot more on gaming.
Gamespot has a stricter review method, IGN has a more numbers based review method, and 1up is more fair with games that have big flaws that are still fun.
Whether it's top ten tuesdays, the 1up Show or On the spot, these game sites have a lot of control on gamers.
The big questions for some are,
-are they reliable information sources?
-will they over hype a game and score it low?
-are their reviews fair?
-Will they rumour just for site traffic?
Well the answers are not all easy but I'll try to answer a few. The best source of real game content is probably 1up, they know when to say that even though there is a lag in a game or bad sound or graphics, that it was an amazing experience. they know when to say that a game has potential, and they say when it hasn't met it, and so on.
IGN.com is known to over-hype games and give them 7.9s or 7.8s on the review, but they do fairly score games and they know how to put the numbers together and rank them well. They are better with numbers and math to solve how much they enjoy a game. They maybe over do a bit of the hyping on the more popular games that tend to flop.
Rumours are made by all, but their motives are unknown. I do know they try a lot to keep their wishes away from their solid information about upcoming games. 1up is quite good at saying when a game could be one kind of gameplay that would help the series, although they make sure everyone knows its not fact or rumour, but their own creativity. Gamespot tends to keep things as facts to make sure gamers trust their direct respectable site. IGN seems to try to get gamers more excited about games which works and a lot of the time their info is true but a lot of the time not.
IGN is a good site if you want specific reviews, the forums on gamespot are the best, the 1up show is the best video network including Gamevideos.com.
Gamespot gives .5 or .0 scores ex.(9.0, 6.5) IGN gives .1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9 or .0 scores ex. (8.3, 4.6,7.0) 1UP gives .5 or .0 scores like Gamespot.

Grand Theft Auto IV

Everyone, from casual gamers to Hardcore, knows about this game, and I want to tell you just a bit more about it. The main character is Russian who immigrated to New York city and has a background of violent and harsh crimes. His name is Niko Bellic, and he has a cousin who acts as his cockaroach-like sidekick named Roman. The game consists of all the GTA style gameplay and adds a touch with the new characters who could bring a more serious feel to the game.

Niko Bellic

The gameplay/story will have you saving Roman's ass quite a bit because of his big mouth, and you'll probably feel like killing him too. Roman is the guy you are staying with as well as your cousin so you have to go by his rules. The games Graphics look beautiful, and for anyone who has played previous Grand Theft Auto games, the graphics, well....... the graphics honestly suck.

The sound as far as anyone knows will be fine, although I hope that we don't end up with the 20 character model city in this game, because then you know you'll hear the same punch lines over and over. But Rockstar won't miss on that one, at least they didn't in the last big game, San Andreas. Let's hope for more info and I'll leave you with a lasting impression,

If you read the post below....

theres a big space there so post comments here if you please

Smokin' Hot Shooters to Come

Tom Clancy's

RAINBOW SIX:

VEGAS 2
(X360, PS3, PC)
Once again we have Team Rainbow in Vegas!

For many years gamers have been waiting for shooter games that can have good sequels that live up to the previous game. We all want fun multi-player and complex single-player and we all want a series that we can trust. Well Rainbow Six Vegas will most likely give us all of those things and maybe show us some new tricks that Developer's at Ubisoft have up their sleeves.

Stay tuned to read more news on the second time main character Logan bust into vegas with his team.

Battlefield: Bad Company
(X360, PS3)
Destroy Everything and Anything!

The Multi-player in Battlefield has always been the best part about it while the single-player has always lacked our desires and we turn to games with good multi-player and single-player. Dice, EA and other co-operating Developers seem to be working mainly on the singleplayer and will be showing us a great new way to play shooters. The way that they've changed this game from many others is that you can destroy practically anything in the game. You might have seen, or played a PC game called Crysis which has this same feature, but you might also have noticed that the destruction of things in the game whether it be walls, vehicles, land ect. it was not a part of the strategy of the game, and with Bad Company the makers want the environment destruction to be a part of the strategy in the game.

Condemned 2 : Bloodshot

(X360, PS3, PC)
A Psyco Cop is their only chance

Yes you play as a psycopathic cop who gets a buzz from killing mutant zombies and he out of every cop is the only one who is willing to do his job. He hunts down criminals and, well like I said, he is a crazy one.

The first game had no online play so no one expects that from the second but we saw some intense survival elements that we, I look forward to.

Left 4 Dead (X360, PC) ?PS3? Killing Zombies Never felt so Good!

Yes another survival horror, this game is being hyped by all of the games media though not as much with gamers. The game gives you 4 player co-op campaign and survival mode which is to survive as long as you possibly can.

The 1up Editor Ryan O'Donnel said that this is the game everyone has been waiting for.

1up also mentioned that the publisher for Left 4 Dead is Valve who developed The Orange box.

Valve is sure to put a good flick of their wrists on this one.

Killzone 2
(PS3)

Great Graphics, hopefully some great gameplay

Killzone 2 is a sequel to Killzone on the Playstation 2 and wowed few players. The changes that needed to be made were big if Guerilla Games wants this sequel to be a success. The PSP game which featured entirely different gameplay was great, but to get the Killzone console games to par with nex-gen shooters like Call of Duty 4, or Rainbow Six: Vegas, Guerilla Games and Sony need to put that edge that we all want out of a First person shooter.

10 Coolest Henchman in a Game

10. Grunts Halo

The Grunts in Halo just add the right amount of humour with the right amount of technique that you want in a smaller enemy, they will attack you straight on, alert everyone that you're there, grab a turret and cause you all sorts of trouble, Scream and they will often trap you with a grenade where you either have to lunge in at tonnes of enemies or take a grenade to your spartan crotch.
They add a lot of single player value to gamers especially in Halo Combat Evolved, AKA Halo 1. You can find them asleep, and you can either surpass them and deal with them later, or you have to wake a whole bunch up and really make the game that much more interesting. The Grunts are something I thought should have been playable characters in the Multi-Player.

9. Skullwalltulas-Zelda games

I hear a lot of people complain about the Skullwalltulas in Zelda Ocarina of Time and Twighlight Princess, but for those of you who do, imagine the game without them. They own the first little bit of your time in Zelda games and they pose a real threat that if you think about it, they aren't too bad, but as easy as they are, the rewards are great, but they will ultimately punish you if you mess up with bad timing, or pressing the wrong button combination. Usually people get through them if they've played many Zelda games, and they grow a custom to these undead spiders.

8. Troll Witch Doctor-Warcrarft
These guys could not be ignored on the henchman list. they are so useful, so funny and lets face it, sooo cool. you start of with them and they respond to you clicking on them saying "who called for the docta". They fight with the orcs and whether that makes sense or not they are great units.

Troll headhunters are their inferior who are goofy but not necessarily funny.

Troll Witch doctors are good mixed units with Melee which in warcraft the orcs are based on melee with a few exeptions. The "doctas" are trained in the Spirit Lodge, and share the lodge with Shaman, which I don't understand because Shaman are so uptight, my goodness. No they just take their job more seriously.

Anyway, they are helpful, and maybe under-used, though not under-loved.

7. Combine-Half Life

No you dont combine these enemies it's pronounced like "calm-byn" with of course the silent E.
These guys are, unlike warcraft, always your enemy. They are chasing after you, Gordon Freeman, for whatever crazy plans they have to kill you, you are putting halt to their plans for the destruction of mankind.

Boy do they have that scare appeal. Nothing is more thrilling than sitting down and fighting freaky guys in gas masks. Perhaps the masks add the lack of Identity or lack of knowlege you have of them that will send chills up your spine.

The game is fast pased when you want it to be, but you can't hide behind cover for long when dealing with the Combine troops. The cool concept that the game has is the four enemys. the Zombies, the Combine, the ant lions and the ressistance. You'll run into zombies fighting ant lions or ant lions fighting combine or combine fighting zombies, and you can use them against eachother (not with in-game instructions, but you wild imaginations) and maybe leave one alive to fight and hold off the stronger force to help you indirectly. the Combine are really an awsome sort, if you get to know them.

6. Cops-Grand Theft Auto

Yes the Games of Grand theft auto you can go around completing missions and satisfying your inner soul, or you can go around killing random innocent civillians, and when the police arrive to beat you with rather hard batons, you have to kill them for your own survival.

The police are the funniest concept of an enemy, just because they walk around in their nice blue suits and all serious, but really it's just a game and the polie are portrayed as jerks, payoffs and if not they will hold shotguns at you and shoot to kill. You have the choice of fooling around and trying to get your stars up to fight stronger forms of authority, you go through like I said police with thier batons, then hand guns, then rangers with shotguns, then helicopters with heavy guns and after that you will fight the swat and then the Army.

The cops need some credit, when there's 30 of them at once, they might just catch you.

5. Chainsaw Ganados-Resident Evil

The Scariest type of person is the person with a chainsaw, but these guys aren't even people, they are infected with a virus causing them to do saddlers will. Dr. Salvador however, is the leader of the Chainsaw Ganado, supposedly the richest guy in town. You can't help but freak out about these guys and with your friends you will have some, "remember the chainsaw guy?" moments.

These guys surpass illuminati, and Prisoners in my books, because they do one hit kills with the chainsaw and in a trapped room they are more lethal than any other enemy.
4. Koopas-Super Mario
Yeah Koopas are awesome, you know it!
Koopas brainwashed by their evil master Bowser to search and Derstroy Super Mario at all Costs. Sure it doesn't seem like it all the time but the koopas are evil, and Bowser has obviously captured princess peach and they should at least slow Mario down shouldn't they.

No they aren't the scariest, or the funniest, but they have a place in everyones heart in gaming, they are priceless and really in the old games they are quite stupid. The AI has always been thick skulled, but the game actually puts that into the originlity and puts the Ai (which doesn't realize that it will fall off a cliff if it walks any further) in perfect places to put the challenge on you, and even when games were side scrolling narrow and you couldn't rome, Super Mario gave you all sorts of choices to make during the game.

3. Stormtroopers-Star Wars Games

Have you ever dreamed about force pushing a stormtrooper into a wall 50 feet away?

Stormtroopers take all the beating in the starwars movies, and games, so I think they deserve third.

They have that look about them that you could just throw them down a cliff, sorry if that scares anyone. They are the kick the cat syndrome of the games, you get mad or your character does, well why not rip apart a storm trooper for no charge.

I really look forward to the new Star Wars game coming to stores 08 or 09 call Star Wars: the Force Unleashed because they really take a beating in it.

2. Terrorists-Metal Gear Solid

They don't see you coming, hopefully, but they might hear a noise, ask if anyone saw something (in your general direction), or they might see you and send every one of their comrades after you, but you're solid snake, you can handle them right? well the answer is that you can't get away with being caught through the whole game without dying, but you can get through it without dying if you have those special stealthy skills that few have.

The henchmen in all stealth games cause tension, but in the king of stealth games they are the most comical, tense, and difficult to get around.

1.Croc-Donkey Kong
Lead by King K. Rool, the seemingly unbeatable army of crocodiles?
Yes Donkey Cong was a hit on the NES and brought it's own series on the SNES where Donkey Knog was the good guy and he fights against the Crocs. the games are memorable in every ascpect and really should be made in the next gen on Wii. too bad that the game is not but it is such a hard thing to get your head around. Donkey Kong 64 was a great game but then again country 1,3 and 3 are way better, but I don't know how much you agree that the Crocs from DK are the best Henchmen, but they showed everyone that AI could be smart and still be equally vulnerable.

Many AAA titles being pushed back

Many of our most anticipated games are not coming out when at the start of 08 they were said to. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Fallout 3, and Battlefield Bad company have all been pushed back. Super Smash Bros. will release in March. Fallout 3 and Battlefield have b0th been put on the to be announced roster.

Halo Wars and the RTS genre

Your going to like this upcoming title if you find the Idea of Halo, and you enjoy Real Time Strategy games. The game has real potential that can wow players who enjoy the zoomed out battlefield idea. If you sat in your room and played with little army men as a kid and you don't know too much about RTS (Real Time Strategy) then read this.

The RTS Genre is a commanding units kind of genre. In war games you order troops from an overhead view and fight against the enemies using built in-game tactics, upgrades, or you can try your own ideas. Usually the single player is very basics oriented in the way that it shows players how to play throughout the game. The multi-player, hopefully online, is usually quite entertaining and intense. PC RTS games are the ancestors of the genre, but now we've seen a few RTS games out on consoles like Battle For Middle Earth II, and Comand and Conquer. Now you will be seeing 4 new and big RTS games on the Xbox 360, Halo Wars, World in Conflict, Supreme Commander, and Civilizations Revolution.

There are other kinds of real time strategy, although few of them. Viva Pinata is considered a strategy game, and as far as my 35 hours into the game went, it was in real time.

The reason so many people prefer RTS games on the Computer is because a mouse is a lot easier to use then an analog stick. You'd be suprised how far developers are going to try and make better Console RTS games. Take Tom Clancy's End War for instance, the game is a brand new concept that brings the camera view closer in, and makes the battle more specific in where you are. Ubisoft, the developer of all Tom Clancy games is taking a big rsk in making this game, but where would the industry be if everything stayed the same?

No More Heroes IGN says.....

Ign.com gave No More Heroes a dissapointing 7.8 but as we've seen with games like Assassins creed, Gamespot scored it higher and gave it a 9.0. We will review the game and not consider other sites as a balance beam, hopefully.

Announced Games!?

Gears of War 2 in 08? Resident Evil 5? Banjo 3? Alan Wake out in 08? Will we see Animal Crossing for Wii? Mario Kart? These are all questions that will be answered in 2008, but the wait is too long for some thats why we can Confirm that Super Smash Bros. Brawl wil release in 2008, so far it's said to come out in March. Grand theft Auto 4 is releasing 08 in the second quarter of the year. Metal Gear Solid 4 is confirmed for 2008 but when it s released in the year we don't know, most likely in the first half. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is Confirmed and is most likely to come out in March.

Jade Empire 2 Does Exist!

Yes Fans are hyped but it will be a long wait for this one, while bioware has two projects to tackle including Jade Empire 2 and Mass Effect 2, because we all know there's a Sequel.

WARZ BEGUN?

The big question this year when it comes to the consoles is not who sells more games like microsoft or more consoles like Wii, but who delivers the best quality experience?

Well I've sat down with WIi Fans and PS3 fans and as the Admin for G-noise and a 360 owner I have to say the battle this year for the ultimate experience is tight, and sometimes the quality of one game (super smash boros. Brawl) for Nintendo can beat 20 Microsoft games as far as quality goes. And who said quality comes behind Quantity, if you look at Xbox 360's Line up of exclusives there is Fable 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Ninja Gaiden 2 and hopefully Alan Wake and Too Human. these are all exciting titles to release but can they together beat Nintendo's Powerhouse, most popular game. Sony has Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, SOCOM, Gran Turismo 5, and a lesser known Infamous. Many People are Hyping Killzone 2, but do we not all recall the first one kind of being bad?

Sony and Microsoft share something more powerful than Nintendo's classic series' and that is Multi Platform Games. Games that come out on both PS3 and X360 are games that are really the best bunch of games in the current generation of games, think..Oblivion, Rainbow Six Vegas, Call of Duty 4, Orange Box, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1,2. These games combined with the Exclusives are plenty to show non-Wii gamers that they can have fun, without those classic games that they hold some hold dear.

The Key for Sony is to equalize their multi platformers to make sure that their market recieves the same or better gameplay then the Xbox Market. They need to make sure there aren't any crazes like with Madden 08 when people said that the Xbox version had a better frame-rate, and look better all around.

Xbox 360 needs to be more reliable online, and Microsoft could give us some more Action oriented games. First person shooters can last a long time, so when Microsoft releases 20 in one year players tend to move to Sony's Action oriented, and more balanced games.

Wii just needs a little more Quantity, sure everyone'll forgive Nintendo if they only release Super Smash Bros Brawl as their Big Guns of the year, but they need to get Games like Endless Ocean and No More Heroes out in the open for their market to see. Preferably Nintendo will come out with more Hardcore titles and seek diferent breeds of gamers that hide in their moms basements playing Warcraft.

As I said Multi Platform games are owning the current-gen, I mean games coming out like Grand Theft Auto 4, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Fallout 3, Devil May Cry 4, Battlefield Bad Company, Street Fighter 4, Soul Calibur 4, Army of Two, Resident Evil 5, Saints Row 2 and many more.

Well we'll see through the end of the first quarter of second quarter of the year an uprising of Nintendo, with Super Smash Bros. Brawl in March, but a huge uprising of the Multiplatforming Market that has never been so big. Now that Microsoft and Sony Have this advantage over Nintendo it's a bigger battle and moretechnological consoles Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 will shine a lot more through the fall and the end of the year.

Burnout Paradise IGN Says...

IGN SAYS: 8.8

Devil May 4 vs. Ninja Gaiden 2

Devil may Cry 4 is a follow up on the 3 Devil May Cry's which feature a main Character called Dante. He being a demon fighter whos a bit egocentric has quite the attitude and really shows how you cn put good gameplay with a less seriouos character and a good story on the Sony Playstation 2 and Be successful. Now in DMC4 there's a new character who incedently looks exactly like Dante. His Name is Nero. Dante usually fights with an over sized sword and wields a fw guns while hes at it. Now with Nero in the picture he's got a special hand which can do some new tricks, as well as a sword and some guns. The story of the game is not to be revealed because spoilers aren't everyones cup of tea, but you'll really enjoy this one, and it's not necessarily timed right after Devil May Cry 3, (could be in between 1-2 or 2-3) as far as the stories timeline goes.

Ryu Hayabusa is a Ninja fighting for revenge and you'll see in videos that he is really angry with his enemies, otherwise he's just sick. This is Ninja Gaiden 2 and you'll notice how much of a gory beat-em-up this game is, but a very hard game. Ryu Hayabusa is the coolest ninja of all time and he is going to prove something with all very cool weapons such as ninja stars, swords, wolverine like claws (longer than wolverines) and ninja staffs, ect. The first three games of Ninja gaiden did not let anyone down but were never the most popular games.

Comparing the two is a bit harder than I expected. I noticed that in Ninja Gaiden you do have to pause the game to switch weapons, and Devil May Cry 4 is weapon change in real time. Hey you know some people like to take a break, and you might need to after chopping opponents in half, their heads off (ect). Devil May Cry is quite rewarding compared to Ninja Gaiden where you kill an enemy and the bar at the top might fill up and say "Carnage" or "pwmage" or something to that effect. Ninja Gaiden will have a feature more exciting than I thought at first, but it will have a fighting element where you can cut an enemies lims off, but they'll comtinue runing, shaking or crawling their way to you. Devil May Cry has not been said to have this feature, but if you play both you'll see that the physics in Devil May Cry are more freelance, where ninja gaiden everything thats done might be hard but is at least humanly possible, at least most things.

Dark Sector is pushed back

A less well known game that many editors believe is a clone of Gears of War although they've added an element which is the three bladed ninja star-like thing to throw at enemies. The 1up team claim it is the Emo version of Gears of War. I think it's the best looking third person shooter for 08, but to look even more forward into 09 we will see the release of Resident Evil 5. this will show some competion and hopefully an incentive for developers to make a brilliant game.

Kingdom Under Fire Flops Everywhere!

Kingdom under fire flopped all over the web so a review on G-noise is unlikely. But you can look forward to Burnout Paradise Reviews, and other talk this month. Hopefully we'll see the next few months pickup in gaming and we'll see titles like Super Smash Bros Brawl and Devil May Cry 4 and Dark Sector in February.

No more Heroes

No more Heroes looking pretty good! Suda 51 the developer of No More Heroes made a game called Killer 7 which was an excellent game but no one knew it existed. Killer 7 was a game which was an aquired taste and really only a few who played it liked it.

Now we have seen videos of the Japanese version with no gore, but the North American Version is supposed to be bloody and gory. The game looks fun, with exciting wiimote combos, and something everyone might not be all for is the Freeze frame. I think that the freeze frame is more than required to give you the time to complete the wii remote action.

No more Heroes looks a lot like a beat-em-up game and it looks like a must rent game, and hopefully a buy.
