What happened to Banjo?

Banjo Kazooie and tooie were my favourite childhood games and I would really like to know when rare can deliver this game. I'm also wondering, will there be anoter Donkey Kong by Nintendo. I believe that these platforming games can give non-gamers a better perspective of gaming. Just tired of same old FPS, RPG, blah blah.

Splinter Cell: Conviction

Your Xbox 360 team delivering another Post

Splinter Cell Conviction looking Great as far as Graphics and sounds go, we're not sure if the new gameplay concept of being wanted will work, or if the story can live up to the amazing prequel: Splinter Cell: Double Agent. The Developers haven't said much about the in game features or tactics of it, but we're sure they will deliver this one broiled with hot sauce!!!

In more interactive info, if you see pictures of Sam Fischer the main Character in Splinter he usually had short hair and a five oclock Shadow, now we've seen him with a ful fledged Beard and long hair. Is this a disguise??

PS3 GOTY

5. Uncharted

This game would have been ranked higher but it was too short and left me and my friends craving a online version and also, it had no replay value, except if you wanted to go around and collect treasures that did nothing to enhance the game, except give you crappy bonuses, such as play the game in sepia (a brown tone). Other then those downfalls, it had amazing graphics and the A.I. was extremely good making the game quite difficult.

4. Skate
This game was great, made me and my buddies want to skateboard again. With the flick-it controls it made you feel like you could actually skateboard. Another great feature was that the whole world was intertwined with. Designing your character was also very addicting, with you having to get sponsored to unlock new clothes. Another awesome feature was you could edit your replays and post your amazing tricks and funny falls online for people to rate.

3. Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
This game was very addicting and left you not want to stop playing. There are quite a few reasons for this. The main reason was the feature of you having to buy your upgrades for your weapons, but also once you got your weapon to level 5 it upgraded into a new weapon. Also, it really fun weapons, such as the groovitron, when you threw the groovitron the enemies started to dance and you could shoot them while they danced. Graphics were great. A.I. could have been a bit better. But overall amazing game, earning a bronze medal in this years GOTY.

2. Rock Band
This game makes everyone feel like a rock star, allowing you to jam just like you were in Radiohead, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, etc. I have to admit though, the best part of this game was the drums feature, it added a whole new side to everything and made the game great fun. Also had a great song selection. This game is #2 just because of its fun, what more could I say?

1. Call of Duty 4
This game was amazing, especially the online. But, first the single player mode was great with you having to make your way stratigacally through the level or else you would get killed. But, the best part of this game had to be the online. There were so many great feature. One of those being create a class. You got to chose your guns based on your rank and choose the perk that went with those guns. The graphics were very good and the A.I. was especially good. This game was just amazing and left me not wanting to turn it off.

Your PS3 team.

Wii GOTY

Hey this is the Gnoise Wii Team, bringing you the top five Wii games of 2007. It's been a great year for Wii gamers, and things are only going to get better in 2008. Here are our top five picks for the Wii:

5. Madden 08

Once again, EA has surpassed our expectations with Madden 08 on the Wii. They took everything that worked in 07 and made it better, and scrapped what didn't feel quite right. They also added some unecesary bonuses like Familly Play, and a quizing game. But in the end, we actually had some fun playing them and I'm sure your grandparents will too. The big inprovment from last year's Madden is the online; it's not perfect, but it works just fine. Madden 08 on the Wii is the best version of the game, and it's great to see publishers really try to make their big franshises specifiacally for Wii; and it sure paid off.

4. Warioware: Smooth Moves

This quirky mini game collection came out at the very begining of 2007, and we almost forgot to put this one in. But this is definatly the funnest and most intuitive party game on the Wii thus far. Pushing controls to actually make you get up and start dancing is only possible with Warioware. The motion controls were really great and opened our eyes to what the Wii can pull off. Although it was short, it was sweet, and the party modes kept us coming back for more.

3. Battalion Wars II

BWii is a great strategy action cartoon war simulator... alrite I'll admit it stands alone as it's own category. But it's a great, fun simple game that'll have you coming back for more. This time around Nintendo has added online, and it works great. Although there isn't any voice chat as of now, we're just glad that that they jumped on the online bandwaggon with one of their bigger franshises finally. Battalion Wars II get's are number three spot.

2. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

The number two spot goes to Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This game isn't for everyone, and you definatly shouldn't aproach it as a fast pace mindless shooter. But everything from the art design and story, to the revolutionary first person motion controls will swipe anyone right off their.. couch. The controls are quick and slick and set the bar for other first person shooters on the Wii. More than half of the game is exploring and solving puzzles, so if you're into that kind of stuff you're going to love this game, because not only is everything presented beautifly, but everything you do has a purpose and actually make you think quite hard. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is a great conclusion to the Prime series and a great game to pick up for your Wii.

1. Super Mario Galaxy

It shouldn't come as a suprise that our number one Wii game of the year is Super Mario Galaxy. It's just one of those games that shows us what Nintendo is all about all over again, and at the same time shows us what developpers can pull off by working with the Wii properly. A mix of originality and pure fun that keeps a constant pace throughout gives you the same feeling you get when you we're younger growing up on Super Mario 64. The game is genius and has unexpected twists around every corner. Flawless controls, fixed cameras that work, and sheer variety are all to be expected from Galaxy. The gravity system works fantasticly and you will will spend hours just pushing the hardware just to see what kind of stunts you can make Mario pull off. Super Mario Galaxy will go down in histoty as one of the most original and best games of all time; a true sequel to Super Mario 64.

Brandon: Will our Wii team deliver the GOTY now?

is the Wii team going to post tonight or tommorow night about the game of the year for Wii. Then we'll let you decide the best of the three Console Games of the year.

Burnout: Paradise; Lookin' Good

Burnout Looks quite good on the eyes, and qute fun when you're playing a multi player game. I want to know if it's possible that this game could be worth buying for people playing it alone. This generation frowns upon those without online, people to play with, or without second controllers.

Can paradise show us it's not just a game for beating up on other players and show a deep meaningful playthrough on singleplayer? No one can say really but Forza and Excite truck the two best racing games out for next-generation consoles are a lot more fun with multi player.

Otherwise the graphics are looking up and fun online is coming soon on Burnout Paradise

Meet Our Teams

G-noise is not one person, it's a few and we'd like you to meet our teams. One team is fractured because we only have one person covering one console. So we will Post pictures of ourselves Soon. First off this is Brandon See. I will Be your Xbox 360 Main wirter backed up By Marcus Pearson. Our Wii Team is Jedd Sardido, and Ryan Al-Hage. Our Ps3 team is only one, Bradley Dudeck, but our wii tem is multi-dimensional so they will help Brad make decisions. We are still tweaking this blog and our posts will become more intense in 2008

Gamers Choice

the most popular games of the year are posted on the poll to see if you guys vote enogh then there will be a gamers choice award.

And NEVER forget about top titles like Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, or Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. We'll Have to see what Kind of opinions and Explanations our Wii Team has.

Xbox 360 Game of the Year

Our Game of the Year for 07 was not as difficult as we thought, the idea that 5 games really took over this year and they are, Mass Effect, Orange Box, Halo 3, Bioshock, and Cal of Duty 4. to Be fair we will hold you in awe and suspense and we will mention the top 5 games this year by leaving spaces in between.

5. Halo 3, the most popular game of the year and many casual and Hardcore gamers clash in Halo 3 seeing that a lot more effort was put in since Halo 2, and no one can argue that. We are not putting this as number one because the gameplay has not much impressed s, we can't see the depth. Te graphics are not pushing any standards. Halo in our books is just a really good shoter but not worthy of number 1 this year.

4. Mass Effect, A great RPG that has a couple of flaws that bring it down such as the frame rate, and the incomplete side missions. The main story is Amazing, yet short. This game is a must buy, before some games above it just for it's play value and replay value. good shooter aspects are present and it's been made clear that there is to be a sequel.

3. Call of Duty 4.looking for Amazing online great campaign mode, and you have a lot of time on your hands, pick up COD4. Awesome graphics only exceeded by a great sound co-ordination are great working together to mke a truly outstanding performance in a game.

2. Orange Box So much to do so much to see and great things to hear. The Half life series brings you your 1 player 1st person shooter needs, Portal brings you what you need for a new genre making our lives more expensive, first person puzzle shooers, and finally Team Fortress 2 has your online wants and thiink-you-needs. TF2 is the most prestigous of the box followed by Half life 2episode 2, then half life 2, then portal and finally half life 2 episode 1. Enjoy

1.Bioshock is game of the year for many reasons, and we Can see that not everyone agrees based on the tally but we have to look at things the way a reviewer does and that is to see the quality of all aspects. This noot being the reason but a good support for fans is that the game is only one player but it only needs to be. It has Beautiful Art, intense gameplay, an engaing story, and a mind blowing sound system. Nobody will regret this buy exept maybe Jack Thompson.

Honorable mentions: Virtua Fighter 5, Rock Band, Forza MotorSport, Guitar Hero III, and Skate.

Mass Effect Overall

Mass Effect is a great Rpg by Bioware available to 360 owners, and has many elements to it. Finding the true genre for the game isn't always obvious. Sometimes you feel like you are Playing an Rpg (role playing game), other times you'll think it's a very descriptive shooter, and some other times you'll probably not even think you're playing a game.

A few flaws are present in Mass Effect. One downer to Mass Effect is the shortness of the main quest, we completed this game on an average of 16 hours feeling incomplete, meaning Bioware stopped at the point that they may have felt it was complete when to many it was not. Another flaw is the frame rate being shaky, and unstable, but it's not that bad. We just don't welcome it.

But Mass Effect is Welcome in our Game Collections, ad should be in yours.
