These games really took off with offline play, and even more so , online play. "Life" playing C.O.D. is like counter strike and really has similarities in map layouts, and artistic elements. A few of these are such artistic elements such as the bullet firing flashing, the entire health system, and playing the role as a member of a squad. I feel that it was a little harder to survive and realized the simple mechanics of it. Later on in the game I improved and started playing it felt good for a little while, and then really made the grade with my red dot sight scope one the S.C.A.R.
Battlefield gives you a large map every time, and this leaves room for sniping campers. The feel of it is actually great because you feel powerful, because even a heli or tank can be taken out, but with skill and practice you can also master these as weapons of mass destruction. The classes are fairly balanced, although I would like to have more of a free range of weapons and tools from both C.O.D. and Battlefield.
I'd love to be a sniper who also carries a stim pack or rocket launcher. The game might take a turn for the worst if everyone were running around with all these weapons but it would also make it more unpredictable and you could not be strategically judged based on your class.
Ultimately C.O.D. has more ways to play, but Battlefield gives you a lot more chance to prove yourself with vehicles and classes. So I'll let you decide, but I know when I pick up the controller next I want to be in a helicopter taking out boats, not stuck on a map with protective walls, the games are both incredible to look at and feature some interesting levels and online maps, so either one you are picking up a game where you will find lots of people online and lots of customizable features.

Madden 09 Review
Madden Has always been a big sports franchise. To me the big three are NHL, Madden, and FIFA. Madden 09 combines all that you loved from previous titles like 04, 07 and even some of the NES titles and created a masterpiece. It's a year and a half old game, and still I think it deserves some credit as on of the best football games of the decade. While NCAA took over the quick, huck-it chuck-it style of football, Madden focuses on the elite players, and how well some teams can dominate. Playing a season of All-Madden or the online leagues are the most challenging ways to play the game. I remember being in a tie, I was Oakland and my friend online was Pittsburgh, and he had the ball at the 35 yard line in my end in overtime. I held my ground and he only made it to the 32. So he decided to take a field goal, and I ended up making my first FG block, and it was one of those madden moments they put into the game. Its a cool feature to have, but people like me just want to play season and multiplayer. Another cool feature was legends, and make your own team. Legends could be on your team, or brought into the league. Brett Favre snuck out of retirement to have a wicked season as on of the leading QBs in the league, and fortunately with the legend players, I just took him out of the list, and edited his attributes to make him play like a more experienced player, but who was a little bit older. All in all what the game offers is hours of on the field action where you may be able to make 100 yard rushes, or if you really challenge yourself, you'll be making drives, not risking 4th downs, strategically calling time outs, and trying to get the defense to jump the line of scrimmage early. The Passing I found to be my offensive strength, and my weakness was, ironically, defending the pass. Playing on low budget, crappy teams as a pro is my favorite thing to do, whether I be the QB, RB, TE, or WR.

GTA 4 Review
Finally I know, but I had to absorb the game that lasts about three years for me for at least a few months. Grand Theft Auto IV is by far the best in the series becaues it has everything that the others were missng and a little more.
I want to talk about one flaw first. The Game can become repetitive offline. When Hardcore gamers become somewhat addicted to GTAIV, they may become mad that there isnt more to do, but that is where online comes in. You can create your own online games, or you can play the given ones, like the one where you have to work together to evade the cops. Totally customizable characters online is a seller for me.
This game was a huge project, and really what I found was different to any of the other games was the shooting and driving. The driving is a little more challenging at first, but when you get the hang of it, I think it was a better style and a more realistic feel. Aim was inverted in all the other gta games, here it wasnt and the crosshairs are easily seen snd used to kill enemies. What I found to be another flaw was that I would have a subway held up, and have cops running down the stairs and the aiming system would not easily allow me to aim to the target I want to, it might keep aiming at a dead body of one of my "victims".
Another big change to the previous gta titles was the graphics, the graphics are great in gta4 and up to par with next gen games. Making the game so much more stylish and enjoyable. With a lasting appeal through the roof I need not mention too much about it. Sound finally was good, and had a lot of original, fresh ideas that made me feel more apart of the game. I was just driving along the sidewalk, as one would, and hit a hobo, he yelled out "I don't have any Banana's!"
A great game, perfect? no, but damn good.

Bioshock Review
Bioshock was a great First Person Action/RPG style game with a flowing story that Kept me wanting more. To give truth to this game, I'd say it had the best story of 07, and it helped hide the small instinces where you might find a flaw in the game.
The weapons in the game really impressed me, not only the weapons but the way the humour was used with the demonstrations of the weapons and how the game allowed you to be creative with them. With Bioshock you are given the use of not only melee wrench, and guns, you are given the use of plasmids. Plasmids are injected to give you powers like lightning bolts, or fireballs, even bee swarms.
Sound is a great big part of Bioshock, the effects and voice acting is brilliant, and the fact that there are recordings as a opposed to cutscenes, and radio instead of misson briefing, it keeps the illusion going for much longer. The weapon noises were good, and for plasmids the noise was decent.
Graphics were a key make or break thing in this game, but not to a large degree, I think most people will love the Art Style and cartoony design of Bioshock, the Graphics were Excellent, but if you don't love the look of this game, then you will find yourself bored.
If I had to choose a game of the year for 2007 now, I think looking back, Bioshock might be it, as far as PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 go. Looking forward I think the sequel will

The Orange Box Review
With the Half life 2 games this reddish yellowish box is already the best game deal of 07, but with Portal and Team Fortress this box is unstoppable.
The games are all very well paced and extremely well thought out. The puzzles that challenge you in Portal and the Half life 2 games are very different from what puzzles you might see in first person games. Half life 2 Episode 2 Team fortress 2 and portal are all new games, and the box also includes Half life 2 and Half life 2 episode one which are older games.
Half Life 2: Episode Two.
A lot of key moments occur in Half Life 2 Episode Two's story that will give some closure and leave you wanting more.
The only real new weapon is a bomb that you can shoot at Stryders (Giant Mechanical Spiders) with your Gravity gun and if it successfully attaches to them you can shoot at the bomb and it wil explode taking out the Stryder in one blow. The self centered, egocentric Scientist named Dr. Magneson named his bomb after, himself. Yes the Bombs are called Magnesons.
The first third of the game takes you through the ant lions colony and it shows how much the series needed an explanation for what Gordon Freeman is really fighting. You go through some Combine enemies, but you'll mainly face the combines Hunters which are introduced to half life in this game.
The graphics are not raising any bars in games, but are well done and the art is not comparable to any other games. The real part of the games in half life that get me are the conversations with Alyx and Eli Vance, or Dr. Kleiner, and others.
Everybody saw the games
concept and thought it was
pretty good, but the feeling
of actually Playing Portal
is one of the best games
I've experienced. It really
gives you the things you would
only Sub-conciously wish for
in a type of puzzle game.
Portal truly shows that
fighting against enemies can
be a puzzle if you make it one.

Grand Theft Auto IV
Everyone, from casual gamers to Hardcore, knows about this game, and I want to tell you just a bit more about it. The main character is Russian who immigrated to New York city and has a background of violent and harsh crimes. His name is Niko Bellic, and he has a cousin who acts as his cockaroach-like sidekick named Roman. The game consists of all the GTA style gameplay and adds a touch with the new characters who could bring a more serious feel to the game.
Niko Bellic
The gameplay/story will have you saving Roman's ass quite a bit because of his big mouth, and you'll probably feel like killing him too. Roman is the guy you are staying with as well as your cousin so you have to go by his rules. The games Graphics look beautiful, and for anyone who has played previous Grand Theft Auto games, the graphics, well....... the graphics honestly suck.
The sound as far as anyone knows will be fine, although I hope that we don't end up with the 20 character model city in this game, because then you know you'll hear the same punch lines over and over. But Rockstar won't miss on that one, at least they didn't in the last big game, San Andreas. Let's hope for more info and I'll leave you with a lasting impression,
